Tig Spot Guns

DOWNLOAD FULL SPECIFICATION

TIG Spot Welds are possible for most DCSP weldable materials.

These include mild steel, low alloy steels and stainless steels.

Cold rolled materials tend to Tig Spot Weld more readily than hot rolled materials.

Aluminium, magnesium, copper and other high heat conducting materials are not suitable for Tig Spot Welding.

Painted, coated or galvanized materials cannot be Tig Spot Welded without first removing the surface coating.

The Tig Spot Weld process uses a conventional Tig welding machine equipped with a spot timer and high frequency arc starting. The Tig Spot Gun is conneceted just like a manual Tig torch.

Replaceable locator tips are constructed of durable copper and are available for tacking inside or outside corners, butt and lap joints. Chuck sizes are 0.040″ (1.0mm) to 1/8″ ((3.2mm).
